House rules

House rules Dear holiday guests!

Our vacation home is intended to be a home away from home. You should feel comfortable and able to relax. We have put a lot of effort into the furnishings and hope you will find everything you need. The following house rules are intended to help ensure a pleasant stay. We have also listed a few rules that we hope you will understand. By treating the apartment properly, you will help us continue to offer you and other guests satisfactory accommodations in the future.

General: If you are missing anything in the facilities or need assistance, please feel free to contact us. All items located in the holiday home, in the garden, or on the terrace, may and should be used by guests. Please treat all furnishings and inventory with care and treat the rental property with respect. Please ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with the rental conditions.

Kitchen Please treat the kitchen equipment and appliances with care. Since a dirty kitchen is no one's cup of tea, please only store dishes, pots, and cutlery in the cupboards when they are clean and dry. Do not place hot pots and other hot objects on tables or countertops without trivets. Always use a cutting board when cutting food. Please leave the interior of the oven and microwave clean. Frying pans with a non-stick coating may only be used with a plastic-coated spatula (do not use a knife or fork!)

Grill: Follow the instructions on the appliance. Be careful when handling the open flame.

Damage: No one intentionally damages things, but it can happen to anyone. We would appreciate it if you would report any damage so that we can discover it during the final cleaning, rather than waiting until after your departure. The tenant is liable for any damage up to the replacement cost.

Ventilation: To prevent mold growth, we ask you to ventilate the rooms sufficiently. Ventilate at least once a day for 5-10 minutes, especially after showering.

Duty of Care: We ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and ensure that fellow travelers and relatives also comply with the rental conditions. The front door should always be closed and locked with a key when leaving the house. Likewise, all windows must be closed when leaving the apartment to prevent possible damage from storms or burglary. Water, electricity, and gas (heating) must be used sparingly.

Disposal

Holiday Home at the Lake View: Waste is separated into residual waste, paper, and packaging with the green dot. Appropriate containers are available in the dining room or on the property.

Holiday home at the junction: Garbage cans are available on the paved road; all bins on this road may be used!

Residual waste: animal excrement, cigarette butts, hygiene products and diapers - black bin

Paper and cardboard Newspapers, magazines, writing paper, cardboard packaging - Blue bin

Plastic packaging, films, tubes, cans or plastic bags - Yellow bin

Biowaste Plant residues and garden waste, fruit and vegetable waste - Brown bin

Please only use trash cans and cosmetic bins in the bathroom with trash bags, and dispose of them in the general waste bin. No garbage, hygiene products, food scraps, harmful liquids, or similar items may be thrown into or poured into the kitchen sink, toilets, washbasins, or showers! Avoid anything that could clog the pipes (do not flush hygiene products or wet wipes down the toilet!).

Cleaning Should you encounter any accidents (extreme dirt, spills on the floor or work surfaces, etc.), we ask that you clean them immediately. We ask that you leave the apartment swept clean upon departure and put all used dishes back in the cupboards and/or load them into the dishwasher and run them. You will find the appropriate cleaning utensils in the kitchen or in the cupboard by the wardrobe (in the holiday home at the Knoten: cleaning utensils are under the sink and under the sink in the bathroom).

Quiet Hours: In the spirit of good neighborliness, we ask you to observe public quiet hours, such as lunchtime, nighttime, and Sunday quiet hours. Quiet hours should also be observed in the holiday home itself between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. out of consideration for neighbors.

Internet/Wi-Fi: The holiday home has wireless internet access (Wi-Fi). The access code is provided in the welcome pack. Use of the internet with your own Wi-Fi-enabled device (laptop, PDA, smartphone, etc.) via the Wi-Fi connection is free of charge for tenants. Use of the internet is at your own risk; the landlord disclaims all liability in connection with the tenant's internet usage.

Smoking (lake view only) Smoking is permitted in the holiday home only in the conservatory with its stone floor. Please open at least one window when smoking and keep the doors to the rest of the conservatory or holiday home closed. Please dispose of completely cooled cigarette butts in the ashtrays or the black ash bin behind the house.

Smoking (only at the Knoten) Smoking is not permitted in the holiday home at the Knoten! You are welcome to smoke on the terrace.

Pets: Pets are permitted after consultation with the landlord. Pets are not allowed on the cushions or in the bed. Please bring a blanket or something similar for your pet to sleep on.
